Every price above was set by the farmer who listed it — not an aggregator
Four hands take a cut before your maize reaches its buyer.
The farmer sells low because the nearest aggregator is the only buyer within reach. The merchant pays high because the load has already been marked up three times before it gets to them. Neither ever sees the other's price.
Greanz removes all four hands. A grower in Oyo lists directly, a processor in Lagos offers directly, and the two of them settle the number between themselves.

Start buyingHow a trade works
Agree the price. Secure the money. Then move the goods.
- 01
A listing is posted
The farmer sets tonnage, grade and an asking price. Nothing is fixed by us — the number on the board is the number the grower asked for.
- 02
A buyer makes an offer
Merchants bid against the listing. The seller counters. This continues until both sides land on a figure, or neither does.
- 03
Terms are settled in writing
Volume, grade, pickup point and dates are agreed in chat and held on record — before a single naira changes hands.
- 04
The buyer funds escrow
Money leaves the buyer and stops with us. The seller can see the payment is secured, and only then loads the truck.
- 05
Delivery releases the money
A haulier is matched to the route. The buyer confirms what arrived. Funds move to the seller, and the trade closes on record.

What is trading right now.
Escrow, not trust
Nobody ships on a promise.
The oldest problem in produce trading is who moves first. Here, neither side has to. The buyer funds escrow, the seller sees it is secured, the goods move, and the money releases on confirmed delivery.
If a load arrives off-grade, the funds stay exactly where they are while the dispute is reviewed against the listing and the chat record.
Funded
Money leaves the buyer and stops with us.
Dispatched
A matched haulier moves the consignment.
Confirmed
The buyer signs off on what actually arrived.
Released
The seller is paid. The trade closes on record.

Before you trade
The questions traders actually ask.
- How do I know I will be paid?
- You never ship on trust. The buyer funds escrow before dispatch and you can see the money is held. It releases to you on confirmed delivery.
- What if produce arrives below grade?
- Raise a dispute before funds release. The money stays where it is while we review the listing, the chat record and the delivery evidence.
- Who pays for transport?
- We match hauliers on your route once terms are agreed. The quote is visible up front, and who carries it is part of what you negotiate.
- Is there a minimum volume?
- No. Listings run from a few crates to full trailer loads, though most trades on the board are priced by the tonne.
